Everyone is all registered for school. T-minus 8 days.

We got all our sports physicals, books, IDs, schedules and even new contacts.

Wyatt and Lucy have 2 PE classes each day - Advanced PE and Lifestyle Sports.

Do they REALLY need 2 PE classes?

Lucy is going to run XCountry and swim and Wyatt has doubles with Senior Group.

Madison on the other had has all AP or Pre-AP classes. School for her will start at 6:30am.

Yeah, good luck with that!

POM Camp

Madison went to her first camp. And it was for POM.

They learned routines, had technique classes and competed.

Madison received a blue ribbon for her team dance and in her Pom class.

She also got most improved.

States

AZ State Long Course Championship meet.... finally!

Wyatt is now the AZ 50 Meter Breaststroke Champion!

Believe it or not all these boys are 12.

Wyatt's favorite race was the last of the weekend... 100 Fly

The kid who won broke the National Age Group Record in the 200 Fly.

Not bad to come in third to him and the giant kid in second.

Lucy also had a great 200 Breaststroke race. 

She got the Far Western cut, made top 8 finals and got a purple medal!

Very proud of both my racers.

Wyatt also got 2nd in 200 IM, 2nd in 200 Breaststroke, 2nd in 50 Fly and 4th in 100 Breaststroke.

SAAA Prelims

Exciting morning at SAAA prelims.

(Southern Arizona summer swim league)

Lucy made finals in the 50 breast seeded 3rd for finals.

She also squeaked in the last spot for finals in the 50 free! She always makes the 50 breast but this is the first time in the freestyle too!

The 11-12 girls also won the Medley Relay with Lucy swimming Breaststroke.

Wyatt's 11-12 boys team also won their Medley Relay.

His most exciting race was the 50 fly. He won it and broke the record that was set in 1997.

He also won the 50 breast and came in second to his teammate in the 50 free.

Wyatt now holds the records in the 9-10 50 breast, 50 fly, medley relay and free relay

and the 11-12 medley and free relays and now the 50 fly!

He also is tied for high point with Terry (the tall one in the pic above) so we will see if he can hold on tonight after finals!

It was cloudy so I made Madison go out on the golf course for some more pics...

OK. So I heard someone say a friend of theirs spent $1200 on Senior Pictures so I need to get in the game FAST!!

Madison has agreed to help me find locations to shoot pictures.

We had a cloudy day so I dragged her down the back hill to the golf course.

Here are some we stopped and took on the way...

No laser light show this year!

The Hilton had a real firework show and we had front row seats from our house!
